Ordering & shipping

Where do you ship?
The United States only for now, including PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses. Outside the US? Email us and we'll see what we can do.

How much is shipping?
Free over $75. A $6.95 flat rate under that. Every gift set ships free on its own.

When will my order arrive?
We pack and dispatch within 1–3 business days, and USPS usually delivers in another 3–7. Weekend and holiday orders go out the next business day. You'll get tracking by email the moment your parcel is on its way.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us as quickly as you can at orders@cathou.com. Orders are packed by hand and fast — if yours hasn't gone out yet, we'll do our best.

Returns & exchanges

What's your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery. Email us first for approval before sending anything back. Changed your mind? You'll get store credit (which never expires), and you cover return postage. Full details on our Return & Exchange Policy page.

My order arrived damaged or wrong — what now?
Tell us within 7 days with your order number and a photo, and we'll put it right with a replacement or refund, whichever you prefer. When the fault is ours, we cover the return postage.

Do you do exchanges?
Not direct swaps — return the original for store credit, then order the piece you'd prefer whenever suits you.

Is anything non-returnable?
For hygiene, pierced earrings and opened skincare or bath products can't come back unless they're faulty — along with personalised items, gift cards and store credit.

Sizing & fit

How do I know what size I'm getting?
Each listing notes the key measurements — hoop diameter, chain length, cuff width, ring size. Most jewelry is one size; where a ring comes in a specific size, it's stated on the product page. If you're unsure between pieces, email us and we'll help you choose.

Are earrings sold as a pair?
Yes — all pierced earrings come as a pair unless a listing says otherwise.

Caring for your jewelry

Will it tarnish?
Most of our jewelry is stainless steel, which is tarnish-resistant and made to be lived in. To keep it bright, wipe it now and then with a soft, dry cloth and store it somewhere dry — a cotton pouch (we include one) is ideal.

Can I shower or swim in it?
Stainless-steel pieces are water-resistant and handle everyday life — washing hands, a little rain. We'd still take jewelry off before swimming pools or the sea, where chlorine and salt are harsh over time.

What about pearls and gold-plated pieces?
These need a gentler touch. Remove pearl pieces before showering, swimming or washing up — water and detergent dull natural pearls. Keep gold-plated and coated finishes away from perfume, lotion and water, and wipe them clean with a soft cloth. A good rule: jewelry on last when you're getting ready, off first when you're winding down.

Gifts & packaging

Does it come gift-ready?
Always, at no extra cost. Every order is packed by hand with tissue, a rose satin ribbon, a natural cotton pouch and a care card — whether it's for someone else or entirely for you.

Can you include a gift note?
Yes — add your message at checkout and we'll tuck it in.

Can I send it straight to the recipient?
Of course. Enter their address as the shipping address and it arrives ready to give. We never include prices in the parcel.
